Spectator Ticket & Vehicle Registration Refunds

• All sales are final after the time of purchase for all spectator tickets, vehicle registrations, and Autocross registrations.

• Transfers are not permitted to any future Goodguys events after the time of purchase.

• Comp tickets and registration have no cash value and are therefore non-refundable.

• Goodguys events are held regardless of weather conditions. Please be aware there will be no refund given due to inclement weather.

Purchase Protection

Goodguys Rod & Custom Association’s official ticketing platform TicketSpice offers purchase protection during checkout When you buy your ticket or vehicle registration for a small fee. If something unexpected happens and you can’t attend the event, Purchase Protection may give you a full refund of your ticket price and taxes.

Qualifying Situations

• You get sick, injured, or have a medical emergency.

• Someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19 near the event date.

• A close family member passes away.

• Your flight or transportation is suddenly canceled.

• Severe weather makes it unsafe to travel.

• Your employer requires you to work unexpectedly.

• You have to deal with a crime, accident, or a legal matter like a subpoena.

How To Request A Refund

1. Go to the Purchase Protection website claims page. Click Here.

2. Enter your Order ID and Claim Number (this information is emailed to you).

3. Tell them why you couldn’t attend.

4. Upload any paperwork they need — for example, a doctor’s note or travel cancellation notice.

5. All claims must be submitted no later than 48 hours after the event.

What Happens Next

1. Purchase Protection reviews your request.

2. They usually reply within about 10 business days.

3. If your claim is approved, they send you a refund check.

4. Your ticket will then be canceled so it cannot be used.

Important Notes (Please Read):

• You must buy Purchase Protection at the same time you buy your ticket or vehicle registration.

• If you dispute the charge with your credit card, Purchase Protection will be canceled and cannot be used.

• Their decision is final unless you have new information to share.

• Ticket Protection is not offered on Show Car Vehicle Registrations for the 1st BASF Legends of Hot Rodding.

Canceled Events

• The ticket purchaser will be notified that the event is cancelled.
• For annually or singularly held events, Goodguys will contact the ticket purchaser to retain your ticket(s) for the following year.

Goodguys Membership

Goodguys Memberships are non-refundable but may be transferred to another party for the remainder of the membership without change to the expiration date or membership level.

Reselling or 3rd Party Tickets

• Goodguys does not promote or permit the resale of General Admission spectator tickets or Vehicle Registrations on any third-party ticketing platforms or directly at a Goodguys event.
• Goodguys is not responsible for refunds on any tickets purchased from unauthorized third-party websites or from individuals selling tickets at the event.
• The unauthorized sale or resale of any ticket is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Tickets obtained through unauthorized sources may be invalid, lost, stolen, or counterfeit, and will be considered void. Any unauthorized use, duplication, or reproduction of a ticket—whether in whole or in part—is strictly prohibited.

Licensing Agreement

This ticket is a revocable license. Any violation of law or any other inappropriate behavior by the user of this ticket during the event may result in revocation of the license and the user being removed from the venue with no refund of the purchase price or any associated charges. User of this ticket assumes all responsibility for all risk of bodily harm as well as damage to or loss of property while attending this event. Entry and Advertising Release

In consideration of Goodguy Enterprises, Inc., d.b.a. Goodguys Rod and Custom Association, (“Goodguys”) accepting entry of the vehicle identified by the entry number specified below into this Goodguys’ event, or entering the event as a paid or comp spectator, each of the following persons (the owner, designer and operator of the vehicle, and their spouse and /or guests), as represented and authorized by the person whose name and signature is listed below, do hereby authorize, permit, give, grant, license, relinquish and release to Goodguys, and to any of its affiliates, licensees agents and representatives, the absolute right to do each of the following activities involving the vehicle, and /or each said persons, whether for commercial and non-commercial purposes and uses, whether in connection with, before, during, or after the event or otherwise, and without any further payment, consideration or notice from Goodguys, and in the sole discretion of Goodguys, to:

• photograph, draw, depict, copy characterize, and/or recreate any images or likeness of the vehicle, and/or each of said persons;
• design, recreate, manufacture, produce, use, distribute and/or sell copies, replicas, miniature and/or toy models of the vehicle;
• print, publish, distribute, disclose, and/or release details and /or information about the vehicle and/or any of said persons; and
• create, assemble, manufacture, print, distribute and/or sell advertising, magazines, brochures, flyers, posters, T-shirts, miniature and toys models, packaging, and/or articles of manufacture which show said vehicle and/or said persons, and/or any image thereof.

These rights to Goodguys include, but are not limited to, any proprietary rights, intellectual property and/or copyright interests necessary to carry out each of the above identified activities, and further includes world-wide, non-exclusive and royalty-free license.
