- TWILIGHT CRUISE – 5pm. Cruise historic Grand Ave.
- TGIF PARKING LOT PARTY - 6pm at the West Des Moines Marriott.
Saturday
- GOODGUYS CPP AUTOCROSS SERIES – 8am-Noon & 1pm-5pm. Hot Rods, Trick Trucks & Muscle Cars compete on a timed road course. Featuring four 4 car “Duel in Des Moines” shootout presented by OPTIMA Batteries 3:30pm-5pm.
- SATURDAY PIE BAKING CONTEST & WATERMELON EATING CONTEST - at the Riley Stage @ 3pm
- GOODGUYS NITRO THUNDERFEST PRESENTED BY SUMMIT RACING – Dragster Exhibition 12pm & 9pm.
- BURNOUT COMPETITION - Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em! 12:30. Tech opens 1 hour before. Sign up at DJ Booth Friday or Saturday morning

- AWARDS PROGRAM – 2:22pm at the Goodguys stage. The Goodguys award program is the highlight of each event. Various celebrities, industry and magazine representatives select over 100 award recipients. (Note: Awards time may be rescheduled due to weather)
