GOODGUYS CAREERS IN HOT RODDING PROGRAM
PRESENTED BY ASE EDUCATION FOUNDATION AND WYOTECH

The hot rodding and automotive service and after-market industry needs qualified talent more than ever! Through this all-new program, Goodguys, ASE Education Foundation and WyoTech, along with their partners, will work as a community to expose high-school-aged students to career path opportunities in the hot rodding and automotive service & after-market industry with a focus on design & engineering, manufacturing, mechanical, fabrication, paint, marketing, media, and sales disciplines.

Goodguys, ASE Education Foundation and WyoTech will work with local area high schools and tech schools in regions where Goodguys produces events, to identify and recruit students interested in a career in hot rodding, and will use Friday’s at select Goodguys events as a real-life classroom environment where students can experience in-person what our industry is all about and meet with various automotive professionals from diverse industry backgrounds.

Mission

Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, ASE Education Foundation and WyoTech are teaming up to reveal and showcase, to high school students across the country, the myriad of career path opportunities in the world of hot rodding and the automotive service & after-market industry.

To promote and excite high school aged students across the country about career options and opportunities in the hot rodding and automotive service & after-market industry.
To bring together the future professionals in our industry, with the companies that currently drive the industry.
To help fulfill the automotive service and after-market industry’s need for a more highly qualified, well-trained, and better-prepared future workforce.

How To Get Your School Involved

If you’re an educator overseeing an automotive technical program and would like to get your school involved in the program, please fill out the form below for consideration. Participating schools must have approval from their respective school district and must provide transportation to and from the event for all participating students and chaperones. All participating students, chaperones and educators must complete and sign and liability release form to participate in the program. Once your request to participate is received, it will be reviewed by the Careers in Hot Rodding Advisory Committee for approval. You will be notified directly if your school is selected to be a part of the program. Don’t hesitate, as space is limited to (150) students per event.
