Servicemen and women of the United States armed forces will soon be reading the colorful Goodguys Goodtimes Gazette courtesy of Creel Printing in Las Vegas.
Creel, who has printed the award winning magazine since 2006, will be sending all extra copies from the past 12 months to the Las Vegas chapter of Gold Star Moms to distribute to the troops overseas. Each month approximately 100 copies of the magazine are left over at the printer. Instead of shredding them for recycling, representatives from Goodguys and Creel agreed that this would be the perfect use for the magazines. “We get a lot of letters from the troops saying how much the Gazette means to them,” said Goodguys President Marc Meadors. “We have several members currently serving overseas. Many have hot rods back home so this is a great way for them to stay current on parts, pieces and trends in hot rodding.”
