Last weekend’s Goodguys 32nd All American Get-Together battled through inclement Saturday weather but finished strong with a spectacular sunny Sunday, bringing close to 2,000 show cars and 40,000 people to the Pleasanton Fairgrounds.
This is the event that started it all for Goodguys back in 1983. The format back then remains today – welcoming all years, makes and models of American powered show cars & trucks.
The main exhibit theme for the indoor show was custom cars of all genres in open competition for the Goodguys 2014 Mother’s Polish Custom of the Year award. Over 40 killer customs including Mercury’s, Cadillac’s, Ford shoeboxes and other exotic blends put on a whale of a show for fans. James Hetfield’s radical coach built “Black Pearl” emerged victorious taking home the weekend’s top prize.
