Hot Rodder’s of Tomorrow Engine Challenge Returns This Year!

The Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge makes its exciting return to select Goodguys events this year! The popular engine building competition for high school auto shop students will be contested at four Goodguys events this spring. The HROT Engine Challenge is an excitement-packed interactive youth-based program which not only provides a highly competitive arena, it’s a great avenue to promote hot rodding to future generations.

As many as six to eight teams of students race against the clock at a frenetic pace to the finish tearing down and rebuilding a small block Chevrolet engine under the watchful eyes of a crew of officials. The competition is open to any local high school auto shop program within the local event region. The HROT Engine Challenge will be contested at the following Goodguys events this year:
-Goodguys 4th Spring Lone Star Nationals, March 14-16, Texas Motor Speedway, Ft Worth, TX
-Goodguys 14th Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals, April4-6, Del Mar Fairgrounds, Del Mar, CA
-Goodguys 21st Summer Get-Together, May 31 & June 1, Pleasanton Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, CA
-Goodguys All American Nationals – INDIANAPOLIS, June 6-8, Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis, IN
