The Jet-Hot coatings camp is getting ever more serious about Goodguys AutoCross next season. Real serious. Building on the success they’ve enjoyed with Cheryl Herrick driving the company’s ’67 Nova, they’re about to hit the pavement next spring with this SINISTER looking Chevy II, built by Detroit Speed & Engineering in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Check out the rake on this beast! Some of the mods include modified rear quarters (for a bigger tire and wheel), radical fuel tank, DSE Chevy II QUADRALink™ rear suspension, and DSE’s Chevy II Front Frame (which been raised to substantially lower the ride height of the Chevy II). As you can imagine, multiple modifications were made on the car to achieve the desired ride height.
