Automotive Aftermarket industry executive Travis Weeks has joined the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association as VP of Media. In his new role with Goodguys, Weeks will oversee and manage all media properties for the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association including serving as publisher of the award-winning Goodguys Goodtimes Gazette as well as manage Good-guys.com and company video production.
Most recently, Weeks served as publisher of Hot Rod & Restoration Magazine and producer of the annual Hot Rod & Restoration trade show in Indianapolis. Weeks brings to Goodguys a wealth of publishing knowledge along with a strong business to business lineage in the Automotive Aftermarket. Prior to his position at Hot Rod & Restoration Weeks held executive positions at Bobit Business Media and McMullen & Yee publishing.
He will begin his new position October, 14th. “We’re fortunate to snag an industry pro like Travis Weeks,” said Goodguys President Marc Meadors. “Travis brings a strong pedigree to the Goodguys team from both the publishing and editorial side but also from an event production perspective. His skills and professionalism will help to enhance and strengthen all of our media properties as we seek to continuously improve and grow our worldwide network of members and enthusiasts.”
After his mid-October start date, Weeks will travel to select Goodguys events this fall as well as work the Goodguys booth the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
