For the second consecutive year, Goodguys had a presence at the annual Wekfest auto show in the Japantown district of San Francisco, held this past weekend. This year’s attendance was estimated at 25,000-plus. The event celebrates the automobile and blends together many different ethnic groups coming together for the love of cars and the lifestyle. The entire lower garage of the Japantown parking garage was filled with 450 show cars with entries from Southern California, San Diego to Texas and Washington. The show is unique in that it is only four hours in length but as you can see from the photos you can have a lot of fun in four hours!
Goodguys staffer Solomon Lee brought over the Goodguys ’61 Lincoln for a little fun. Needless to say everyone appreciated the early American Iron decked out in Boyd Coddington solid polished wheels and Coker white walls! Goodguys literature was passed out to the crowd keeping the hot rodding flame lit with the younger demographic! All in all it was great day for cars and car folks in Japantown!
