Goodguys Rod & Custom Association and Diablo Valley College have teamed up to present the “Rock Rhythm & Blues Revue” at the upcoming 31st All American Get-Together Presented by Specialty Sales Classics March 23 & 24 at the fairgrounds in Pleasanton. The All American Get-Together is Northern California’s largest and longest-running vintage automotive festival featuring over 3,500 American powered show cars and more.
The Rock Rhythm & Blues Revue will feature 25 bands playing a range of blues, rock, soul, country, oldies and pop. It will mark the first time the All American Get-Together has featured live music in over 5 years.
The event within the event takes place Saturday, March 23rd from 11am to 3pm. Each band will perform for approx. 15 minutes giving the fans and spectators quite a rapid-fire show of spirited music. The bands will perform at the double-decker bus stage in the center of the fairgrounds.
Concert promoter Steve Sage of Concord, who created the Rock Rhythm & Blues Revue looks forward to the special event saying “The bands will be ecstatic to play a Goodguys event. You couldn’t ask for a better platform for these talented musicians to share their music and passion. Cars and music have long been synonymous. It’s going to be special.”
