Project G/RS Update!

Dennis, Greg, & Kurt – the Ridetech build team on the Goodguys G/RS ’69 Camaro have been hard at it in the last few weeks getting the big bad & blown LSA motor a clean air path and it’s accessories ready to spin! As you can see from the photos – they’ve focused on cooling and air induction with a big custom radiator box and other hand fabricated components.

The car’s official debut is scheduled for the Goodguys 8th Nashville Nationals May 17-19.

The bright yellow Camaro will serve as the in-house AutoCross car for the Goodguys staff (one of the many perks of working for Goodguys!) and essentially be used to further promote the Goodguys brand throughout the country on track and on the open road! The car’s official debut is scheduled for the Goodguys 8th Nashville Nationals May 17-19.

A 6.2 liter 580 hp GM LSA engine, a Ridetech suspension and Tremec 6 speed transmission will allow this bad boy to turn fast laps and turn heads!
A Moser rear end, PPG Paint, Baer brakes, Forgeline wheels, BF Goodrich rubber, Vintage Air A/C, Dakota Digital gauges, Hudson Rod & Custom Interior, RECARO seats, Rick’s Tank, American Autowire Harness and goodies from Speedway Motors and Rick’s Camaro Parts complete the build list.

The Ridetech team does a great job of chronicling the build! There are currently 33 photo updates to see! Make sure and continue to follow the build here.
