Goodguys ’69 Camaro Making Progress Towards May Debut

-Kurt at Ridetech refinished the back deck-lid last week giving it a much smoother and more striking finish.

There’s a lot going on at Ridetech headquarters (www.ridetech.com) in Jasper, Indiana. Not only are they busy churning out world class suspension components, they’re also churning out a world class ’69 Camaro for Goodguys! The bright yellow Camaro will serve as the in-house AutoCross car for the Goodguys staff (one of the many perks of working for Goodguys!) and essentially be used to further promote the Goodguys brand throughout the country on track and on the open road! The car’s official debut is scheduled for the Goodguys 8th Nashville Nationals May 17-19.

A 6.2 liter 580 hp GM LSA engine, a Ridetech suspension and Tremec 6 speed transmission will allow this bad boy to turn fast laps and turn heads!

A Moser rearend, PPG Paint, Baer brakes, Forgeline wheels, BF Goodrich rubber, Vintage Air A/C, Dakota Digital gauges, Hudson Rod & Custom Interior, RECARO seats, Rick’s Tank, American Autowire Harness and goodies from Speedway Motors and Rick’s Camaro Parts complete the build list.

The Ridetech team does a great job of chronicling the build! There are currently 31 photo updates to see! Make sure and continue to follow the build here

-The build team has already started to plan out the Flowmaster exhaust and the wheel wells are being reworked

-Looks like the big brake kit from Baer will fit perfectly! If the rear calipers look this big, wait 'til you see the fronts!
