Dave Kindig and the Kindig-It Design team made good on their promise to the deliver the 2013/2014 Grand Prize Giveaway Car to us before the end of the 2012 season. First seen at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas before being delivered to Goodguys at last weekend’s 2nd Fall Del Mar Nationals presented by Meguiar’s, the dazzling deuce looks amazing in its predecessor’s colors!
The car will be on display at most 2013 Goodguys events before being given away at the 2014 Goodguys PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio.
The Goodguys “Tribute ‘32” features an all steel body (donated by George Poteet) bathed in PPG “Goodguys yeller”, a GM Performance Ramjet 350 featuring a custom intake from Arizona Speed & Marine, Hughes transmission, quick change rear end from Speedway Engineering, Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners and Billet Specialties “altered” front wheels (18×4.5”) and “fuelies” (18x10”) out back.
Body mods include a stretched nose, forward-leaning grille, 2 ½ “ chop, filled roof, raised rear wheel wells, Kindig-It constant radius door hinges, custom built roll pan and custom floor panels.
The interior features one-off custom “Goodguys” edition gauges from Classic Instruments, Tea’s design “Posies” styled seats and a matching rear seat done in Tea’s light linen ultra leather. The upholstery and trim work was handled by JS Custom Interior’s in Salt Lake City, Utah.
How do you win the Goodguys Tribute ’32? There are two ways to win. Those of you who are 2013 event participants with a car entered in a show can win by qualifying as a finalist via the “Sunday Lucky Ticket” or you can qualify as a finalist by being a Goodguys member.
