Dennis Albaugh’s 1969 Yenko Camaro from Ankeny, Iowa has been named Goodguys/Hemmings Muscle Machines 2009 Muscle Car of the Year. Albaugh’s Camaro, which was chosen as a finalist at the 18th Heartland Nationals in Des Moines was selected over 15 other award finalists, the first of which was chosen last year at the season-ending Southwest Nationals. A finalist for the Muscle Car of the Year award is chosen at every Goodguys event that features rods, customs, classics and muscle cars through 1972 vintage. The award is selected by both the Goodguys event staff and the editors of Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine.
