Tuesday Morning Road Tour Update!

Yesterday’s Rodfather/Goodguys Road Tour leg, presented by Speedway Motors took the pack (now 108 cars and 167 people strong) 300 road miles from Speedway Motors’ sprawling Lincoln, Nebraska headquarters, over to Gary Kuck’s garage and private collection (Gary twice won America’s Great Race) up through Iowa to the home and private collection of Dennis Albaugh in Ankeny – home of one of the world’s largest collections of Chevrolet vehicles.

Let’s put it this way – besides being treated to a great day of museums, collections and fellowship – the gang ate really, really well yesterday! Speedy Bill Smith and the Speedway gang provided lunch while Albaugh fed the gang a full course dinner including New York steaks and fresh Iowa pork chops! Yummy!

The video crew also got a chance to sit down with some rodders to talk about the family aspect of hot rodding – we think you’ll enjoy hearing from some of the pioneers of hot rodding talk about how this hobby has impacted their family lives. Enjoy!
