Former Goodguys Trendsetter award winners Mike & Jim Ring and Phil & Jeremy Gerber will select the coveted Goodguys Builder’s Choice awards at the 15th PPG Nationals July 6-8 in Columbus, OH.
Operating out of their Spring Green, Wisconsin shop, the Ring Bros are two time Goodguys Street Machine of the Year winners and have had cars place in the Top 5 at Columbus numerous times. Known for cutting edge design and impeccable build quality, the Ring Bros have also notched multiple Mother’s Shine awards at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Phil & Jeremy Gerber, the driving forces behind The Roadster Shop in Mundelein, Illinois have also tasted plenty of success on the big stage in Columbus as well as being honored nationwide for their modern designs, expert engineering and flawless, almost production- like build quality. Like the Ring Bros – they’ve built two Goodguys Street Machine of the Year winners and along with their father Neil and talented staff, offer a complete line of muscle car, street rod and truck chassis and other components.
The Goodguys 15th PPG Nationals Builder’s Choice special parking area will be open for participants Friday, July 6th and Saturday, July 7th. All cars considering a run for the Goodguys 2012 Classic Instruments Street Rod of the Year and the Goodguys 2012 Optima Batteries Street Machine of the Year are required to park in the Builder’s Choice area both Friday and Saturday.
