Rushforth Rolls in a Fresh Car for this weekend’s Pacific Northwest Nationals in Puyallup

Designer and wheel manufacturer Jason Rushforth of Tacoma is really looking forward to this weekend’s 22nd Pacific Northwest Nationals in Puyallup. Having attended all twenty-two Goodguys events at the Puyallup Fair & Expo Center (sometimes hoofing it to the show before he was old enough to drive), this will mark the first year he will attend the event in a pre-’73 vehicle. He and his lovely wife Melanie will be cruising in style in their fresh ’64 Buick Skylark.

Rolling on a set of Rushforth “Whiplash” Wheels (what else!) wrapped in BF Goodrich rubber, the Skylark is basically stock appearing but has a wicked stance thanks to a full Hotchkis TVS suspension. The stock interior was too nice to mess with as was the stock paint. “I found the car on Craiglist back in April,” Jason explained. “It was such a cream puff. All it needed was a basic facelift and a killer stance. I think we pulled it off without getting too crazy. It’s going to be a blast to finally get to cruise my hometown Goodguys event with my wife in our own car! I’ve had some cool cars but nothing this early. It’s gonna be a fun weekend.”
