Athens Alabama’s Allen Naylor wins the Supernova!

Allen Naylor of Athens, Alabama won the 2009 Grand Prize Giveaway Car “Supernova” from Air Ride Technologies at the Goodguys 12th PPG Nationals in Columbus! Naylor, 45, picked the lucky key out of the barrel that cranked over the Nova’s 600-plus horsepower World Products big block engine.

A lifelong car enthusiast and owner of Naylor Proformance Transmission in Athens, he qualified to win the Supernova at last October’s Nostalgia Nationals in Bowling Green, Kentucky. His primary show vehicle is a ’50 Ford F-1 pickup but his girlfriend Alicia Chunn confessed he’s got a barn full of “at least 20” old Fords. He’s been a Goodguys Rod & Custom Association member since 2007.

Visibly stunned after realizing he just won a spectacular muscle car, Naylor quickly warmed up when he realized he’s now the proud owner of Supernova. “I’m gonna show it, drive it and have fun with it” he chanted when asked what his plans were for the car.

From everyone at Air Ride Technologies and Goodguys we offer a hearty congratulations to Allen Naylor! Have fun!
