Limited Time Remains to Enter West Coast Custom of the Year, Street Rod d’Elegance Competition

Two major awards highlight the spring event season this month including the Goodguys 2012 Mother’s West Coast Custom of the Year as well as the Goodguys 2012 March Performance Street Rod d’Elegance. Both are part of the Goodguys “Terrific 12” presented by Street Rod Headquarters.

Presented at the 30th All American Get-Together March 24 & 25 at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds, the West Coast Custom of the Year award is designed to honor an exceptional custom car 1936-1972 vintage. The competition is open to all styles and genres of custom cars (from traditional to modern. All customs must be entered as part of the indoor custom car exhibit at the All American Get-Together.

The Street Rod d’Elegance, presented a week later at the Goodguys 12th Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals March 30-April 1st at the Del Mar Fairgrounds honors a pre-’49 street rod defined as “gorgeous and elegant.” Like the West Coast Custom of the Year, the Street Rod d’Elegance contenders are selected from indoor car show entries-only in Del Mar.
