Twenty-three year old Janine Lietz of Palos Park, Illinois has won the Goodguys 2011 Ford Mustang GT Giveaway Car! Lietz, a medical billing specialist, was randomly drawn from a pool of over 45,000 entries who participated in the Mustang Giveaway contest this year. She entered the contest at the 5th Chicagoland Nationals last August at Chicagoland Speedway.
She and her fiancé Robert had so much fun at the Goodguys Chicagoland Nationals, they went to Indy for the Goodguys 1st WIX Filters Speedway Nationals at Indianapolis Motor Speedway where he proposed to her. She said yes!
A lover of fast cars, Leitz has owned mostly late model Dodge’s including an SRT8 Cherokee and a 2010 SRT8 Challenger which she recently sold. She was pretty shocked to receive a phone call from Goodguys today telling her of her good fortune. “It’s awesome,” she said on winning the car. “I’ve been counting down the days to the drawing ever since I entered the contest. Thank you Goodguys!”
Due to her good luck, she now moves from a Dodge into a 412 horsepower blue oval beast. The 2011 Mustangs are hot. Ford did their homework adding a true 5.0 liter 32 valve V8 which features a new cam torque–actuated TiVCT (twin independent variable-cam timing), lightweight aluminum block and cold-air induction. Liet’s new car is an absolute rocket ship with 6 speed manual transmission, leather performance bucket seats and all the bells and whistles!
