Hot rodding has lost a friend, innovator and industry Champion. Todd Gartshore, co-owner and vice president of marketing for Baer Brakes, passed away over the weekend.
Gartshore co-founded Baer Brakes in 1994. Previously, he had worked at companies including Quickor Engineering, HKS, CarTech and Vortech. He also served on SEMA’s Board of Directors and the MPMC Select Committee.
“Todd was a passionate champion of this industry and especially SEMA where he served on the Board of Directors and made sure people knew what it meant for them and what they could do for SEMA,” said a message posted on the Baer Brakes website this morning. “Todd was known for his great sense of humor; he loved to make people smile and laugh. And if you cried from laughing so hard, he was completely delighted!”
Gartshore was a fixture at industry events including Goodguys events around the country, races and shows and will be missed by his many industry friends.
All of us at the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association send our condolences to the family and friends of Todd Gartshore, as well as the entire Baer Brakes family.
