Goodguys Missile Coming Together at RPM Hot Rods

Construction is moving at a rapid pace on the Goodguys 2012 Grand Prize Giveaway Car at RPM Hot Rods in Warrendale, PA. The project, based on Steve Stanford’s “Goodguys Missile” illustration, has made great strides in recent weeks.

Power will come from a 426 Mopar built by Indy Cylinder Heads. The transmission will be a Tremec 5 speed. The Roadster Shop chassis features their new front and rear suspension technology, coupled with Ridetech coilover’s and a big brake kit from Baer.

The car will be displayed in bare metal at the14th PPG Nationals, July 8-10 in Columbus, OH. Stop by for an up close look at next year’s Grand Prize Giveaway Car!
