The off season is over… Show time is now!
The 2nd Spring Nationals kicks off a brand new Goodguys event season this weekend at Westworld in Scottsdale! The Spring Nationals will feature more than 2,000 1972 and earlier vintage cars and trucks sprawled throughout Westword, vendor exhibits, a swap meet and cars-for-sale area, Street Challenge Autocross, special “themed” parking areas, model car and pedal car show and many other fun activities for the entire family! The weather forecast is looking stellar with sunny skies and temps in the mid 80s reaching a hi of 86 on Sunday!
The event also marks the grand debut of Project Clean Air – an emissions legal 1955 Chevy giveaway Car. After a yearlong build this one of a kind cruiser, built by Ironworks Speed & Kustom, Kenny Davis Hot Rods and the Recovery Room is sure to turn heads! Fans will also have the chance to register to win a classic 1965 Ford Galaxie built by Drew Brother’s Customs courtesy of KOOL 94.5FM and CBS 5.
The weekend gets off to a festive start Thursday with the special hot rod cruise hosted by the Over the Hill Gang followed by a kick-off party at 5pm at Drew’s Garage. For a complete look at all the weekend festivities, click here: http://www.good-guys.com/pdf/11-628/WeekHapsSpring11.pdf
