-Goodguys 2014 Hall of Fame Road Tour leaves Pleasanton Thursday, Sept 25th!
Goodguys 2014 Hall of Fame Road Tour presented by Meguiar’s and Barrett Jackson departs Goodguys Rod & Custom Association headquarters this Thursday, September 25th traveling 2,400 miles and 7 days ending at the Goodguys 22nd Lone Star Nationals October 3-5 at Texas Motor Speedway! The tour is dedicated to the memory of Jack Trepanier.
Goodguys own Ed Capen will lead the tour in our Ridetech-built G/RS ’69 Camaro. George Poteet, fresh of a 300-mph crash at Bonneville will be on the tour driving his ’48 Ford convertible. Troy Trepanier will team with Brian Ferguson to drive Glenn Grozich’s “Chicayne” twin-turbo ’62 Chevy and Ridetech’s Bret Voelkel will team with Kurt Blackgrove in a ’67 Camaro. Last year’s Custom Rod of the Year winner Mark Willman also returns in his stunning gray ’56 Buick by Rad Rides. Harold and Tracy Chapman as well as Jeff and Janeen Drinkard will represent Texas on the tour. In all, over 35 cars are joining the fun.
Road Tour stops will include Speedway Motors (host stop), Steve Cook Creations, Lucky 7 Speed Shop, Pinkee’s Rod Shop, Kindig-It Design, Miller Motorsports Park, the historic Stanley Hotel in Colorado, Racedeck, Kicker Car Audio, Multiple private collections and an exclusive tour on the Nevada Northern Railway plus some other neat surprises!
